Stephanie L. Adams practices in the areas of commercial and civil litigation in both state and federal courts. Ms. Adams has experience representing regional and international companies in matters involving contract disputes, mass torts, product liability litigation and construction litigation. Ms. Adams also has experience in connection with various aspects of real estate law, including landlord-tenant disputes, commercial lending, foreclosures and workouts.
Ms. Adams has demonstrated a commitment to pro bono work. She has provided free legal assistance to victims of Hurricane Katrina by resolving title issues, ensuring that they will have access to the federal assistance that enables them to repair and rebuild their homes. Ms. Adams has also drafted legislation designed to prohibit discrimination against women in Cameroon, where discriminatory customary practices are common.
