Blechschmidt
Senior Associate
|
Vanessa is a senior associate in the German Litigation and Regulatory group and is based in the Frankfurt office.
She advises German and international clients in corporate defence issues, in particular fraud, anti-corruption, money laundering, breach of fiduciary duties (Untreue) and compliance. A particular focus of her practice concerns sports law issues.
Before joining DLA Piper, Vanessa worked with a law firm in Frankfurt, the legal department of the Darmstadt police and for a leading automation and power technology group in Sydney, Australia.
Vanessa has recently finished her doctoral thesis with the University of Freiburg (Germany) on a comparison of German and Spanish white collar legislation.
