Shirli Fabbri Weiss honored with Top Women Litigators Award

DLA Piper announced today that Shirli Fabbri Weiss has been named one of California’s “Top Women Litigators” by the Los Angeles Daily Journal.  Weiss is a partner in DLA Piper’s Litigation practice, specializing in securities litigation, consumer litigation and mass product liability litigation.  She also counsels corporate boards of directors in securities litigation prevention, insurance and corporate governance.

The annual award recognizes 100 California women who have exceptional leadership skills and are leaders in their field. Weiss was nominated by her peers and selected by a group of judges, based on her leadership role and career history. A veteran in the industry with more than three decades of experience, Weiss’s practice emphasizes the representation of companies and directors and officers in securities litigation and companies in mass product liability/consumer litigation; defense of government proceedings on behalf of corporate directors and officers; and representation of special committees of boards of directors. Weiss is also a member of DLA Piper's US Executive Committee.
