Betsy Karmin concentrates her practice on a broad range of commercial real estate transactions, including development, acquisitions and sales, leasing, joint ventures, and financing. She has represented a large grocery store chain, including its multi-state real estate asset purchases, as well as national and regional real estate developers and investors in office building dispositions, acquisitions, financings, and leasing.

Ms. Karmin also has extensive experience representing institutional and other investors in making equity investments. She has represented landlords and tenants in urban and suburban office building and shopping center leasing, including ground leases and multi-floor office leases, as well as lenders and borrowers for complex construction, permanent, and mezzanine financing.

In addition to private practice, Ms. Karmin served as General Counsel for a company developing centers to provide the laser vision correction procedure throughout the U.S. and Canada.
