Caryl Welborn has practiced in the transactional real estate and entity structuring areas for nearly all of her career.

She is involved in all types of commercial real estate transactions, working extensively with structuring partnerships and limited liability companies, and in acquisitions, sales and joint ventures, construction and permanent financing, ground lease and alternative financing vehicles, leasing, development, restructurings, and loan and equity workouts. She has represented developers, institutional lenders and investors, banks, insurance companies, funds, and other entities in projects across the country.

The respected English publisher Chambers and Partners has cited her annually in Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business and has described her as a "very smart and practical attorney." Ms. Welborn is listed in the International Who's Who of Business Lawyers and the International Who's Who of Real Estate Lawyers published by Who's Who Legal. She is named in the Legal Media Group's Guide to the World's Leading Real Estate Lawyers. She has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America every year since 1995. As the result of a joint research project of Law & Politics and San Francisco magazines, she has been named a Northern California Super Lawyer and one of the 50 Top Women Lawyers in Northern California.
