DLA Piper’s Claudia Salomon Recognized in Global Arbitration Review’s “All-Female Top 30” List

Press Release

(New York) – DLA Piper today announced that Global Arbitration Review has named Claudia Salomon, a partner in the firm’s New York office, to its All-Female Top 30 list. The list honors individuals who have helped to create a more balanced arbitration practice area and who serve as the best role models for the next generation of women lawyers.

“Claudia is an extraordinary attorney who has done a phenomenal job advancing the cause of female lawyers within an expanding global business community,” said Robert J. Mathias, U.S. chair of DLA Piper’s Litigation practice group. “She undoubtedly deserves this recognition, and we all congratulate her on this great honor.”

Salomon, co-chair of DLA Piper’s International Arbitration practice, focuses on complex international disputes and has managed significant investor treaty arbitration and international commercial arbitration cases. She has litigated arbitration matters, including enforcing arbitral awards worldwide and obtaining emergency relief, and she regularly advises on the drafting of arbitration agreements. Salomon has also been named one of Global Arbitration Review’s 45 under 45 in international arbitration.

To develop the All-Female Top 30 list, Global Arbitration Review surveyed leading arbitrators and the wider arbitration community. Weighted nominations were provided by top arbitrators; additional candidates were later recommended by members of the female-only organization ArbitralWomen. The list, which includes women who are either department heads or hold senior positions in major arbitration practices, illustrates the growing number of influential women practitioners in the field of dispute resolution.
