Cara Nelson has experience with real estate development, financing, acquisitions, and leasing. Ms. Nelson has represented regional and national developers, lenders, landlords and tenants in a broad variety of commercial real estate transactions. In particular, Ms. Nelson has represented a national developer of grocery store-anchored shopping centers with the redevelopment and expansion of a shopping center in the City of Boston; a national developer with the development of a vacant parcel of land in the City of Boston; and lending institutions in a variety of loan transactions. Additionally, she has represented various airport authorities in negotiating and drafting real estate agreements for terminals and related facilities.
Ms. Nelson serves as a mentor to law students through the Boston Lawyers’ Group and is a member of the Boston Bar Association and the Women's Bar Association.
The respected English research firm Chambers & Partners cites her in Chambers USA: America's Leading Lawyers for Business as an "Associate to Watch" and notes that she "is building a notable reputation as a smart and diligent hard worker."
