Michaël is a partner in the Real Estate department of DLA Piper. He has experience in acquisitions, especially relating to real estate and real estate companies. He focuses mainly on drafting takeover agreements, due diligence, contract negotiations as well as on legal advice to (real estate) companies, mergers and restructurings.
Michaël Bollen also focuses on advising institutional investors in real estate with regard to all the legal aspects of their activities in Belgium.
He has solid experience in the field of due diligence, contract negotiations and restructurings.
Michaël has published several articles on due diligence practises and on aspects of acquisitions and takeovers of companies.
The Real Estate department of DLA Piper has won the 2007 Belgian Legal Award for “Real Estate and Construction Law Firm of the Year” and is ranked Tier 1 in the European Legal 500 for 2007, which also recognizes Michaël as a “rising star associate”.
