His active involvement in the China venture and private equity community has led to numerous accolades and recognitions, including his appointment to the international investment division of China's Ministry of Foreign Commerce (aka MOFCOM) as the exclusive international lawyer commenting on draft Chinese rules and regulations in connection with venture capital, private equity, fund formation and cross-border mergers and acquisitions. Rocky graduated from the University of California Berkeley with High Honors and Academic Distinction. He received his law degree, specializing in Business Law from the University of California Los Angeles. He is fluent in English and Mandarin.
