Ashleigh Angeletti focuses her practice on defending technology, pharmaceutical, and commercial clients in class and mass actions. She regularly represents public and private companies in class action litigation, coordinated and multidistrict product liability litigation, complex commercial litigation, trade secret claims, and internal investigations.

Ashleigh has significant experience in all aspects of litigation, from pre-filing investigation and strategy through trial and resolution. She has particular expertise in handling cases with complex scientific, medical, and technological concepts.

Ashleigh also maintains an active pro bono practice with an emphasis on preventing domestic violence and obtaining discharge upgrades for military veterans.

  • Represented Danone in in the nationwide litigation involving allegations that baby food products cause neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism, and obtained dismissal of the leading case.
  • Defended Novo Nordisk in multi-district actions and related cases involving Ozempic and Victoza diabetes medications.
  • Represented NuVasive in securities class action alleging misrepresentations about the company's compliance with federal healthcare laws.
  • Counseled various technology, start-up, and life science companies regarding complex business and commercial matters.
  • Obtained summary judgment for The Clorox Company in false advertising litigation relating to nutritional supplement products.
  • Defended Bayer in California complex litigation, federal cases, and related proceedings involving a permanent birth control device, including strategic resolution of tens of thousands of claims.
  • Obtained trade secret misappropriation and breach of contract jury verdict for semiconductor provider GSI Technology, Inc.
  • Represented a U.S.-based public medical device company in connection with a DOJ investigation into alleged violations of the FCA.
  • Obtained summary judgment for AMN Healthcare in antitrust action related to non-solicit clauses.
  • Represented a U.S.-based medical device company in connection with a securities class action relating to alleged violations of the Anti-Kickback Statute.
  • Represented Pfizer in product liability litigation alleging that Viagra causes melanoma.
  • Defended DJO Global in mass proceeding relating to orthopedic medical device products, in consumer class action litigation, and in various other tort and commercial litigation matters.
  • Defended XPO in numerous class action lawsuits alleging employee misclassification.

Pro Bono

Ashleigh has a strong commitment to pro bono cases, and has focused her efforts in helping victims of domestic violence. Additionally, she has successfully petitioned for discharge upgrades for numerous military veterans, assisted clients with the naturalization process, and sought clemency for incarcerated clients.
