Sofía O’Ryan joins DLA Piper’s Antitrust practice in Chile

DLA Piper announced today that Sofía O’Ryan has joined the firm as a counsel in the Antitrust practice in Chile.

O’Ryan advises companies on matters related to concentration, unilateral conduct, and horizontal and vertical agreements, both in investigations before the National Economic Prosecutor's Office (Fiscalía Nacional Económica - FNE), and in proceedings before the Chilean antitrust court. In her practice, she also works on the design and implementation of commercial policies, as well as the development of compliance programs and internal investigations.

“Expanding our antitrust capabilities with the addition of Sofía will improve our ability to provide concrete and innovative solutions and will be of tremendous benefit to our clients,” said Felipe Bahamondez, head of DLA Piper Chile’s Antitrust practice.

O’Ryan previously worked at the FNE, where she focused particularly on merger control, unilateral abuses and horizontal agreements. Before joining DLA Piper Chile, she worked in FNE's Mergers Division and its Antitrust Division.
