Nancy is a registered patent attorney and intellectual property trial attorney. She represents industry leading companies and organizations on a wide range of patent infringement cases.

Nancy also has experience advising clients on prosecution strategies for life science technologies, including antibody technologies, pharmaceuticals, biologics, CRISPR/Cas technologies, therapeutic and active agent delivery systems, and medical devices, among others. Her experience further encompasses counseling clients on patent licensing and procurement.

Before joining DLA Piper LLP, Nancy worked extensively as an IP journalist at the largest online intellectual property publication in the world, IPWatchdog, Inc.

Nancy is a former Alaska commercial fisherman.

Nancy is the Vice Chair of the Boston Chapter of Young Women In Bio, an organization that partners with leading companies, universities, hospitals, and other organizations to host highly engaging, educational, and motivational programs for young women in STEM.

Nancy also volunteers as a performer with Voices of Hope Boston, a nonprofit musical theatre group that fundraises for cancer research at the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center.
