DLA Piper advises Chord Music Partners in acquiring minority stake in Morgan Wallen’s master recording catalog from Big Loud
DLA Piper advised Chord Music Partners, one of the largest independent portfolios of music rights in the world, in its acquisition of a minority stake in Morgan Wallen’s recording catalog from Big Loud, a Nashville record label.
Since its founding in 2013, Big Loud has become one of Nashville’s preeminent record labels, with a roster that includes Wallen and a host of other top-billed country acts. Their catalog includes Wallen’s six-time platinum Dangerous: The Double Album and seven-time platinum One Thing at a Time, as well as his hit singles like “Last Night” and “Whisky Glasses.”
