Kfir Abutbul is a transactional lawyer and advisor to private equity sponsors, credit funds, and institutional investors operating across the capital structure, with a focus on energy and infrastructure.

Kfir advises sponsors and investors throughout the private capital deployment lifecycle – from initial structuring, investment, and acquisition through exits, workouts, and restructurings. He has significant experience in non-traditional investment scenarios, including participating and non-participating preferred equity, convertible instruments, holding-company payment-in-kind structures, and hybrid financing products.

In the energy and infrastructure sector, Kfir focuses on investments in data centers, critical and power infrastructure, power generation, battery and storage technologies, critical minerals, and decarbonization infrastructure. He also advises on global transactions involving investments across the United States, Western Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia, with particular experience in Japan. His experience spans sectors, including real assets, chemicals, technology, industrials, and digital infrastructure.
