Maximilian Viski-Hanka is a corporate attorney with a primary focus on fund formation, including private equity, hedge, and real estate investment funds, as well as partnership, corporate, and international taxation.  Mr. Viski-Hanka frequently advises fund sponsors on the launch and continued operation of both closed-end and open-ended funds.  Mr. Viski-Hanka has represented investment funds in all aspects of their ongoing operations, including the purchase and disposition of portfolio investments.

In addition to Mr. Viski-Hanka’s fund formation and transactional tax work, Mr. Viski-Hanka advises a diverse range of clients, including individuals, closely held corporations, family offices, non-U.S. individuals and businesses, and tax-exempt organizations with their respective tax planning strategies.

Mr. Viski-Hanka earned his LL.M in taxation from the New York University School of Law where he was a Graduate Editor of the Tax Law Review.  Mr. Viski-Hanka is a 2015 summa cum laude graduate of the University of Miami School of Law where he was elected to be a member of the Order of the Coif.  He speaks Hungarian and Spanish.
