The growth of digital technologies has revolutionised the Consumer Goods, Food and Retail Sector. As the pace of change is accelerating, it is clear that organisations with Industry 4.0 aligned cultures, skillsets and mindsets will have the greatest success in our digitalised world.

In this webinar session, delivered by Chloe Forster and Matthew Griffin, Founder and Futurist in Chief of Global Futures and Deep Futures firm the 311 Institute, they discussed the impact that the powerful emerging technologies and trends are having on the Consumer Goods, Food & Retail sector.

Chloe and Matthew explored the changes that are top of mind for sector innovators and the legal issues associated with embracing them. They also covered some of the themes that have emerged from DLA Piper’s Tech Index Report 2022, that launched on 8 November.

The webinar explored overarching themes, whilst drilling down into key focus areas for each sector, covering topics such as:

  • Artificial Intelligence.
  • The rise of NFT’s as a means of brand reinforcement and consumer engagement.
  • The Metaverse, Web 3.0 and the opportunities they present.
