Sanjay Joshi has practiced securities law with some of the world’s largest corporate law firms for over 20 years. He regularly manages significant multi-jurisdictional M&A and corporate finance transactions, as well as Canadian and US public company listings. 

Sanjay’s practice is principally focused on technology-based corporate finance and M&A. He regularly assists clients with technology-based specializations including: AgTech; AI technologies; global biotechnology and drug development; as well as US omni-channel platforms in the health, wellness and the QoL health sciences field. He acts as lead corporate counsel for, among others, an international large-scale indoor and vertical farm, several healthcare brands and a large scale US retail skincare line. Additionally, Sanjay advises numerous global companies in all aspects of their stock exchange listings and capital raising issues. 

Sanjay is currently listed as a leading lawyer for ‎Corporate Law by both the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory and Best Lawyers in Canada. Sanjay was previously named to Lexpert Rising Stars: Leading Lawyers ‎Under 40 (Top 40 Under 40) and listed in the Lexpert Guide of Leading ‎US/Canada Cross-Border Corporate Lawyers, among other distinctions. Additionally, he was an adjunct ‎professor at the Faculty of Law, Queen’s University, Canada for several years where he ‎taught Advanced Securities Law.
