About

Greg’s practice spans defending pharmaceutical, life science, and medical device companies, patent litigations, and assisting companies in designing and implementing risk-based compliance programs.  Greg is a dedicated lawyer who regularly handles complex matters, including multidistrict product liability and complex commercial litigation.

Greg has extensive expertise with fact and expert witness development, discovery, depositions, dispositive motion practice, and trial preparation.  Greg has taken and defended numerous party and expert witness depositions in product liability and patent litigation matters.  He routinely represents clients in state and federal court.

Before joining DLA Piper, Greg clerked for the Honorable Joel H. Slomsky, U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.  In law school, Greg served as an intern for the Honorable Elizabeth T. Hey, U.S. Magistrate Judge for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.  Before practicing law, Greg worked in oncological medical education, and his undergraduate research in mycobacteriophages has been published in peer-reviewed scientific journals.

Greg also assists with local Philadelphia pro bono organizations, particularly the Eastern District of Pennsylvania’s Supervision to Aid Reentry (“STAR”) program and Philadelphia VIP.
