Marije specializes in turnkey and integrated contracting and construction law, grounded in DNR 2011, UAV 2012, UAV-GC 2005, and FIDIC standards. She possesses significant knowledge in sustainable building certifications.
Marije adeptly serves both national and international clients, including project developers, investors, and corporate end-users. She has successfully managed complex residential, logistics, office space, and retail developments, along with turnkey transactions and corporate fit-outs. Her skills in drafting and negotiating contracts for these projects are exceptional, and she is known for her practical and collaborative approach to development projects.
Currently, Marije focuses on ESG issues in the real estate sector. She is an active member of the legal expert group of the Dutch Green Building Council, where she advises on legal matters related to BREEAM and Paris Proof standards.
