Andrew Clarke focuses on advising upon three core areas: (i) the acquisition, construction and sale of new developments, including warehouses/distribution centres, (ii) renewable energy projects and has advised extensively in respect of Solar parks and wind farms and (ii) the real estate aspects of the acquisition and sale of corporate entities.
Andrew has also advised upon the sale and purchase of some of the largest property portfolios and is a leading individual in the development of an insurance policy used in the support of the sale/acquisition of large property portfolios.
Andrew advises on leases to be granted to occupational tenants and on the sale of the completed developments.
Andrew is experienced in advising upon a wide variety of acquisition agreements, including conditional agreements and options. He has advised extensively upon overage/clawback arrangements acting for both landowners and developers.
Andrew acts for a number of government departments and non-departmental bodies including, the United Kingdom Research and Innovation. Additionally, he advises charities on real estate matters relating to acquisitions and disposals.
