Ana Teresa Barreto joins DLA Piper as head of Industrial and Intellectual Property practice in Peru
DLA Piper announced today that Ana Teresa Barreto has joined the firm as of counsel and head of the Industrial and Intellectual Property practice in Peru.
Barreto is a well-established lawyer with more than 20 years of significant experience providing strategic advice on patent, trademarks and copyrights, among other registration procedures, as well as litigation in IP-related matters. She represents companies across multiple sectors, including retail, pharma, food and beverage, gastronomy and tourism, entertainment, banking, mining, construction, agro-industry and education, among others.

Barreto was previously CEO and general director at ClarkeModet Peru, where she regularly managed intellectual property related to new products and innovative developments.
