DLA Piper advises underwriting syndicate in Public Policy Holding Company’s US IPO
DLA Piper advised the underwriting syndicate led by Oppenheimer & Co. and Canaccord Genuity in Public Policy Holding Company, Inc.’s (PPHC)’s US$50.8 million US initial public offering (IPO) and listing on the Nasdaq Stock Market. The deal complements PPHC’s current listing on the Alternative Investment Market (AIM) of the London Stock Exchange.
PPHC is a leading global strategic communications provider offering a comprehensive range of advisory services in the areas of government relations, public affairs, and corporate communications. The offering consisted of 4,150,000 shares at a public offering price of $12.25 per share.
“This transaction underscores the value of having an advisory team deeply fluent in cross-border capital markets,” said Josh Kaufman, Co-Chair of the firm’s Capital Markets and Public Company Advisory practice. “Dual-market offerings demand speed, global coordination, and a sharp command of regulatory expectations. We are particularly pleased to advise on offerings for foreign-listed companies, allowing them to obtain liquidity through the US markets.”
The cross-border team was led by Kaufman (New York/Miami), Partners Era Anagnosti (Washington, DC/Palo Alto) and Russell Holden (London), and Associates Jenna Fontenot and Thais Lopez (both Miami).
This transaction builds on recent recognitions for DLA Piper’s Capital Markets and Public Company Advisory practice, which was named a Top 10 Capital Markets Equity Advisor to US underwriters for FY25 by Bloomberg and the London Stock Exchange Group.
