DLA Piper announces new US and global sector leadership

DLA Piper is pleased to announce several recent changes to the firm's US and global sector leadership teams. They include:

• Richard Hans joins John Cusack as global co-chair from the US of the Financial Services sector. Isabelle Ord joins Margo Tank as US co-chair of Financial Services.
• Amy Rubenstein and Mark Waite become US co-chairs of the Industrials sector, joining John Lyons, who remains global co-chair from the US.
• Maxine Hicks becomes global co-chair from the US and US chair of the Infrastructure, Construction and Transport sector.
• John Sullivan becomes global co-chair from the US and US chair of the Real Estate sector, succeeding Jay Epstien. Kerry Johnson joins Sullivan as US co-chair of the sector.

  In his practice, Hans represents financial institutions and other publicly and privately held firms in complex commercial and securities litigation and advises clients with respect to global compliance issues. Ord's practice focuses on defending class actions and other complex business disputes.
  
  Rubenstein represents clients nationally and internationally in complex commercial, high-tech and product liability disputes in a broad array of industries. Waite handles complex litigation relating to engineering and construction projects, oil and gas and other energy disputes, joint venture relationships, commercial and contractual disputes, major personal injury claims, equipment failures and matters relating to plant operations.
  
  Hicks focuses on real estate development, with a particular emphasis on large mixed-use, transit-oriented developments, including destinations for stadiums, entertainment, hospitality, club and resort projects. 
  
  Sullivan represents public and private pension plans, opportunity funds, investment advisors and non-US investors in equity, debt, hybrid and joint venture transactions throughout North America. Johnson concentrates on securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance matters and general corporate law, particularly in the real estate industry.
