Anthony is Global Co-Chair of the Technology and Sourcing team at DLA Piper. He is a leading AI, technology, outsourcing, data centre, digital and commercial contracts focussed lawyer. In addition, Anthony is the Global FinTech Lead, the UK Financial Services Sector Head, and leads the firm’s Global Data Centre practice at DLA Piper. With over 23 years of experience, he is recognised as a leading technology transactions, AI, data centre, outsourcing and digital lawyer (ranked in Legal 500 and Chambers for IT/Telecoms, FinTech and Outsourcing). Anthony advises a range of global financial services, insurance, digital infra, energy and technology businesses on complex, business-critical projects, including digital partnerships, cloud and AI transformation, strategic technology contracts, outsourcing, joint ventures and platform arrangements.
He also has extensive expertise in the data centre and wider digital infra sector, having worked on major global projects involving Hyperscaler leasing, enterprise customer contracts, co-location, GPU procurement and GPUaaS deals, data centre M&A / investment and financing arrangements, satellite and telecoms / networks matters. His advice is underpinned by significant in-house experience gained on secondment at Barclays, Janus Henderson Investors, Lloyds Banking Group, COLT Telecom and HCL, giving him a highly commercial and pragmatic approach to solving client challenges.
