Enila Elezi is a lawyer in the Intellectual Property & Technology Department at DLA Piper’s Milan office, specialising in the technology and media sectors. She advises on data protection and privacy, commercial and consumer law, and product regulation, assisting multinational companies in the development of digital services and their entry into the European market.
She has extensive experience advising companies in the media, technology and big tech sectors, with a particular focus on product regulation as applied to both digital services and connected physical devices. She assists clients in navigating the regulatory implications of developing and bringing to market advanced technology products — including wearables, smart glasses and AI-based systems — supporting them in identifying and managing applicable regulatory requirements across the full value chain, from design through to distribution in the European market.
In her DLA Piper client-facing work, she regularly advises Italian and international companies across the technology, media, insurance, e-commerce, luxury and retail sectors on data protection, data governance, AI and emerging technologies, as well as on commercial and contractual matters.
Within the firm, Enila serves as Legal Design Ambassador, promoting an innovative approach to legal practice grounded in clarity, plain language and information design. She has led and contributed to multiple document simplification projects, applying legal design, visual law and plain language principles to privacy notices, contractual documents and internal compliance policies.
She is admitted to the Milan Bar and holds the CIPP/E certification (Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe).
