Time crunch: Managing immediate critical response

Thursday, October 30, 2025

The unpredictability and suddenness of environmental events can bring devastation to communities and the industries who support them. DLA Piper lawyers hosted the Environmental and Catastrophic Events Webinar Series, where participants learned how environmental conditions and regulatory scrutiny are reshaping the legal landscape – and what companies can do to prepare. DLA Piper lawyers provided practical guidance on managing exposure before, during, and after events such as wildfires, hurricanes, floods, earthquakes, and more.

In this second program of the series, DLA Piper lawyers explored the legal and operational challenges companies face in the first hours and days following a catastrophic event. DLA Piper lawyers offered actionable strategies for rapid decision-making, and regulatory compliance to help mitigate risk and protect stakeholders during crisis situations. A preview of all remaining programs in the series is below.
