Generali acquires leading insurance agency, 4Life Direct

DLA Piper has advised Generali CEE Holding, a leading insurance group in Central and Eastern Europe, on the acquisition of 100% of the shares of 4Life Direct Poland, part of the leading insurance distribution group, 4Life Direct International.

This transaction will strengthen Generali’s position in the insurance market and allows it to consolidate its operations, reduce operating costs, and increase the efficiency of its business processes.

DLA Piper advised Generali on structuring the transaction, legal due diligence of 4Life Direct Poland, and the preparation, negotiation, and conclusion of the complex transaction documentation.

A team from DLA Piper’s Warsaw office worked on the transaction was led by Rafał Kluziak, partner in the firm’s Corporate practice.
