About

Alan Rockwell has more than 25 years of experience working on finance transactions in the US and European leveraged finance syndicated and private credit markets. He has worked on a wide range of cross-border, multi-jurisdiction US and European secured financings involving companies in more than 30 jurisdictions, and he is dual qualified to practice both New York law and English law.

Alan represents leading investment and commercial banks, private credit funds, direct lenders and other financial institutions and corporate borrowers. His experience includes public and private acquisition broadly syndicated and private credit finance transactions (including bridge financings), preferred equity financings, refinancings and recapitalizations and asset-based lending. Alan also has significant US and cross border experience of debtor-in-possession (DIP) and exit financings, restructurings, workouts and corporate reorganizations (both in and out of court).

Notably, he has worked across a broad range of industries and sectors, including technology, telecoms, business services, healthcare, industrials and manufacturing, chemicals, waste disposal, consumer & retail, sports and financial services.
