  • Assisted a European biotech company with identifying the requirements for the rollout of its Advanced Therapy Medicinal Product (ATMP) in several European countries, as well as the legal and regulatory considerations for the on-site manufacturing thereof.
  • Assisted a US pharmaceutical company with the rollout of its autologous Advanced Therapy Medicinal Product (ATMP) through the drafting and negotiation of contracts and documents with various European healthcare institutions and authorities.
  • Assisted a Japanese medical device company with the implementation of Regulation (EU) 2017/745 (MDR) and its Brexit transition, including reviewing its business setup and Quality Management System (QMS) documentation.
  • Assisted a Belgian governmental agency within the framework of the COVID-19 pandemic, including with the purchase and distribution of COVID-19 medicinal and medical device products, as well as with the implementation of various COVID-19 health safety measures.
  • Assisted a global pharmaceutical and medical device company with several medical equipment borderline cases.
  • Assisted a global medical device company with a large cross-border ethics compliance project, including the mapping of applicable ethics and (Sunshine Act) disclosure requirements, and with the drafting of internal SOPs.
  • Represented a global medical device company during inquiries surrounding alleged non-conformities by competent health authorities in Belgium and the UK.
  • Assisted a global medical device company with a product recall and withdrawal in Europe, including with the identification of appropriate Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
  • Assisted two Belgian hospitals within the framework of a potential merger, identifying the requirements for such merger and analysing the impact of the new collaboration on both organisations.
  • Assisted a Belgian biotech company with its correspondence with the Belgian and other European food authorities regarding the unlawful market entry of one of its competitors.
  • Assisted a European food packaging company with mapping the requirements and upcoming changes to the European and Belgian legislation on food contact materials.
  • Assisted on various due diligence assignments within the framework of life sciences financing rounds and M&As.
