Mélody Brunot has over ten years of experience in corporate M&A with a strong track record in advising international corporations, private equity and real estate funds, venture capital funds, and innovative start-ups.

Known for delivering strategic legal solutions and navigating complex regulatory environments to meet clients' diverse needs, she focuses on cross-border and domestic M&A as well as the structuring and financing of investments, including the set-up of joint ventures, with a focus on the real estate, private equity, financial services and technology sectors. Mélody also advises international corporate groups on intra-group restructurings and corporate governance matters.

She is a member of the corporate technical committee of the LPEA and the Institut Luxembourgeois des Administrateurs.

EXPERIENCE

Mélody’s relevant experience includes advising:

  • Arcus Infrastructure Partners group on the disposal of its participation in the Constellation Cold Logistics group, a logistics group with presence in Western Europe and the Nordics.
  • A consortium composed of DigitalBridge and Infranity in the acquisition from Vantage Data Centers Europe Sarl of a stake in several European data centers through the set-up of a co-investment structure with Vantage.
  • MML Capital on its investment in the Arηs Group, alongside the group's founders and key employees.
  • Energy Infrastructure Partners on the sale of a minority stake in one of Europe’s largest windfarms to AG Insurance.
  • Energy Infrastructure Partners on the acquisition of a stake in Plenitude's share capital through a capital increase of EUR 588 million.
  • The Carlyle Group in connection with its acquisition of a 95% stake in a French self-storage group, Locabox, and in particular on the setting up of the Luxembourg acquisition structure and re-investment of the founder into the Luxembourg holding vehicle, including the implementation of the incentive and co-investment scheme.
