DLA Piper advises Société Générale on acquisition of Shine, a leading neobank for entrepreneurs

DLA Piper has advised Société Générale on the acquisition of Shine, a leading fintech and neobank for professionals.

With this transaction Société Générale's retail bank in France has complete its offer for professional’s and small companies’ customers, aiming to become the leader in a fast-growing sector through a package based on a leading digital offer and a range of expertise via its network of agencies and professional spaces.

This transaction enables Shine to pursue its independent development with strengthened resources, and to be distributed by Societe Generale in addition to its existing offer.
