DLA Piper advises investment banks on Shoper IPO
DLA Piper has advised investment banks Biuro Maklerskie PKO BP, mBank and WOOD & Co. on the initial public offering of shares in Shoper S.A. (Shoper).
Shoper is the owner of the most popular e-commerce platform in Poland, and is sold as SaaS (Software as a Service). The company offers a comprehensive ecosystem that supports users in running, managing and developing their own online sales. Additional services include support for marketing, logistics and payments. The company debuted on the main market of the Warsaw Stock Exchange on 9 July 2021.
The PLN363 million offering attracted considerable interest, which resulted, among other things, in a 92.5% reduction in subscriptions from individual investors.
Shoper's offer included 7,731,628 shares in the company, representing 27.11% of the share capital and 27.50% of votes at the General Meeting together with a stabilisation option covering approximately 9% of the offered shares.
