Thomas is specialized in complex real estate transactions. He advises national and international clients on both large-volume cross-border deals as well as transactions at the project development stage. This includes forward purchase, forward funding, joint venture and sale-and-lease-back structures.

He has particular expertise in providing comprehensive advice on the Logistics & Industrials asset class. He is an expert for the issues typical in this area, such as contamination and conversion, including the creation of building law.

  • Advising GLP on the development of more than 10 logistics properties in Germany, including the acquisition of land, planning and construction.
  • Advising an international operator of real estate in the care and rehabilitation sector on a large-volume cross-border portfolio transaction.
  • Advising a leading international manufacturer of care products on the sale of a production/warehouse site.
  • Advising a company in the defence sector on the acquisition and safeguarding of a production site with environmental contamination.
  • Advising Aurelis Real Estate GmbH, Catella Real Estate AG, Conren Land Management GmbH, Kingstone Investment Management GmbH, LIP INVEST GmbH, Panattoni Germany Properties GmbH, PATRIZIA and SavillsIM on the acquisition and sale of a total of more than 50 properties, including mixed-use buildings and buildings in all stages of development, including forward purchase, forward funding and joint venture structures.
