EXPERIENCE

He worked recently as DLA Piper Mexico’s environmental co-counsel representing Coeur on a recent compliance investigation with complex underlying national waters components related to a mining project.

Along with the DLA Piper Mexico team, conformed the legal team in charge of the environmental aspects of the recent acquisition of Iberdrola’s assets in Mexico from Grupo Cox (Cox) for US$4.2 billion – one of the largest cross-border energy deals of 2025.

Successfully represented a consumer‑goods manufacturing company in several lawsuits challenging governmental actions related to stormwater and wastewater matters amounting to USD 16 million.
