EXPERIENCE

Before joining DLA Piper, John was involved in a wide range of complex cross-border transactions. Some of the highlights from 2018 and 2019 include:

  • One of the largest global bank’s first ever major real estate investment in Denmark (Rødovre Port)
  • Bain Capital LLC’s acquisition of Diversey Holdings, Inc. (USD3,200million)
  • HG Capital’s acquisition of IT Relation A/S (deal value USD314million)
  • LeoPharma A/S’ investment in the US-based biotech company PellePharm, Inc. (deal value up to USD760million)
  • Danfoss A/S’ acquisition of the public listed US-based company UQM Technologies, Inc. (deal value USD95million)
  • Polaris Equity Partners’ acquisition of ProData Consult A/S (deal value USD78million)

Prior Experience

John has worked as an M&A lawyer in New York for a US Tier 1 M&A law firm (Legal500; middle-market), where he handled several large M&A transactions for a number of the biggest Danish companies, e.g. LeoPharma, Novozymes and Danfoss.
