DLA Piper advises Wildfire Systems in US$15 million Series A financing

DLA Piper represented Wildfire Systems, an innovative financial technology platform that powers reward and loyalty programs, in a US$15 million Series A funding round co-led by TTV Capital and QED Investors.

Wildfire's versatile platform helps partners across a full spectrum of verticals, such as financial institutions, search engines, browsers, rewards services, telecom providers and device OEMs. Wildfire will leverage the funding to expand the launch of its new white-label monetization platform that allows enterprise partners to embed social commerce, rewards and cashback offers into existing customer journeys.

“We are thrilled to continue our collaboration with Jordan Glazier and the Wildfire team and to have advised the company through this funding round,” said Randy Socol, the DLA Piper partner who led the firm’s deal team. “Jordan has put together a fantastic team of employees and investors, and we’re looking forward to continuing to support them as they continue building a great company.”

"DLA Piper has been at my side for over 15 years. With my last business, Eventful, Randy Socol and the whole DLA team were incredible from day one all the way through to the close of our successful exit to CBS. And they're at it again, helping us from the earliest days of incorporating Wildfire all the way through to our latest round of funding," said Jordan Glazier, CEO of Wildfire Systems, Inc. "Their insights and strategic guidance help us navigate the complete cycle of building a business. It's always fun and reassuring to have them by our side."

In addition to Socol, the DLA Piper team representing Wildfire Systems included partner Richard Bull and senior attorney Steffani Stevens (all of San Diego).
