Breanna Needham named a 2022 Lexpert Rising Star
DLA Piper (Canada) LLP is pleased to announce that Breanna Needham from the firm's Litigation, Arbitration and Investigations group in the Toronto office has been named a 2022 Lexpert Rising Star.
Breanna has a successful commercial litigation practice with a focus on civil fraud matters. She has extensive experience with investigations, injunctions, extraordinary remedies, and asset recovery proceedings. Breanna manages a wide range of complex and highly sensitive matters which require her to navigate delicate and time-sensitive situations with both counsel and clients. Breanna has a deep respect for the value of team work and peer learning, and has played an important role in shaping the development of students and junior associates.
Breanna regularly comments, speaks, writes, and creates content on topics related to equity, diversity and inclusion in the legal profession, with a focus on gender equity and issues which affect the queer community. She uses her social media presence to engage with a large online audience on a variety of issues, from equity to mentoring, with a focus on an intersectional approach that acknowledges systemic discrimination in the legal profession.
