Bangkok Partner Waranon Vanichprapa appointed to lead Asia Finance, Projects and Restructuring practice

DLA Piper has appointed Bangkok Partner Waranon (Warren) Vanichprapa to lead its Finance, Projects and Restructuring (FP&R) practice in Asia.

Warren joined DLA Piper in 2020 and is a leading banking lawyer in Thailand. He has over twenty years’ experience of helping financial institutions and multinational corporations with complex financing and restructuring transactions, financing regulatory matters, bankruptcy, M&A and commercial law issues.

Warren takes over the role from Hong Kong Partner Matthias Schemuth who has successfully led the practice for the past five years.

In his new role, Warren will be responsible for continuing to strengthen DLA Piper’s existing FPR capabilities in the region with a focus on delivering exceptional client service.

Warren also holds the role of Country Managing Partner for DLA Piper Thailand.
