The EU is in the process of finalising its Artificial Intelligence Act (EU AI Act). As one of the first laws on AI by a major regulator anywhere, the regulation is expected to have far-reaching consequences, also for Europe’s global technological competitiveness. The European legislators have broadly approached AI by organising three categories of risks. These range from unacceptable and high-risk applications that will be heavily regulated, to applications that are only subject to limited rules.

To help you navigate this complex piece of regulation, DLA Piper launched a dedicated app. This app provides an overview of the status of the EU AI Act. The app includes the latest draft text of the European institutions with links to related recitals and to the text of the initial proposal of the European Commission on the EU AI Act, published in April 2021.

Whether you are a legal advisor or a decision-maker looking for the details and scope of the EU AI Act, or a professional needing to stay up to date with the latest developments in AI, this app will help you.
