DLA Piper advises EQT Ventures on Series A financing round in tech start-up Linearity

DLA Piper has advised EQT Ventures on its investment in Berlin-based tech start-up Linearity on a EUR20 million Series A financing round. In addition to EQT Ventures, other investors include 468 Capital.

Linearity has developed a graphic design software, Vectornator, with full featured vector design tools, used by major digital technology companies including Wacom, Microsoft and designers and illustrators around the globe. Vectonator is an intuitive illustration software which enables its users to create high quality illustrations on their mobile devices or computers using vector graphics. The app has been downloaded more than 5 million times and has hundreds of thousands of monthly active users.

EQT Ventures is the venture capital fund of EQT, a purpose-driven global investment organization. The fund invests globally in fast-growing, innovative and technology-driven companies across all sectors, with a focus on Europe and the US.
