DLA Piper Canada welcomes associate Ryan Walter

DLA Piper (Canada) LLP welcomes back Ryan Walter to the Edmonton office as an associate in the Corporate group. Ryan has a general corporate commercial law practice with a focus on mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, commercial real estate transactions, tax-driven reorganizations, corporate finance, regulatory compliance and corporate governance.

Ryan serves as general business counsel to entrepreneurs, owners and investors assisting with all facets of their businesses from start-up to sale. Ryan also advises developers, investors and land owners on commercial leasing and land acquisitions/dispositions. 

Ryan returns to DLA Piper after practising at an Edmonton business services firm. Ryan first joined DLA Piper as a student in 2014, practising with us as an associate for over three years. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta.
