Sara Vlaanderen practices in the area of civil construction law and public procurement, with particular focus on construction projects and disputes.
Sara has extensive experience in litigation. She also deals with negotiating and drafting contracts. She is a strategic and creative thinker.

Sara started her career as a solicitor in a law firm. Thereafter, Sara has worked as a lawyer in the Amsterdam district court, and she joined DLA Piper’s litigation & regulatory department in 2016.
Before re-joining DLA Piper in December 2020 Sara worked as a judge deputy in the court of appeals of Arnhem-Leeuwarden.
Sara volunteers in the local municipal counsel that aims to protect and reenforce biodiversity in the urban environment.
