About

Glenn Reitman is the senior Finance attorney and Head of Finance for Texas based out of our Houston office.  Glenn has been representing US national, Texas-based and foreign lenders and borrowers in structuring, negotiating and documenting finance transactions with a focus on commercial, real estate, oil and gas and energy, project and structured financing for twenty years.

Glenn is a member of the DLA’s Finance Practice and its Energy and Natural Resources Practice.  He has been recognized by the The Legal 500 United States.

His diverse finance practice includes maritime, private equity, venture capital,  project and stadium, EX-IM Bank finance, leveraged buyouts, structured products, loan workouts, restructuring, recapitalization and reorganization transactions.He has experience also includes representing financial institutions as counterparties in structuring, negotiating and documenting derivatives transactions with respect to interest rates and commodities

Glenn’s upstream Oil and Gas Finance experience includes RBLs, term loans, intercreditor, 1st and 2nd lien structures, ABLs and large corporate revolvers.   His Midstream Finance experience includes the financings of gathering systems, saltwater and other water systems and pipeline systems.  His Downstream Finance experience includes marketing companies, maritime and transportation companies and pipeline and terminal developer and operators. 

Glenn has represented banks and borrowers in maritime transactions, including construction contracts, financings, acquisitions, sale and purchase of vessels, complex time and bareboat charters and registration of vessels under the flags of Panama, United States, Vanuatu and other jurisdictions.
Glenn's real estate finance experience includes acquisition financing, construction financing, pre-development and bridge financings.

  • A Private Equity-led syndicate of lenders in a US$150 million acquisition term loan secured by 11 US locations
  • Kraken I, II and III, each as borrowers in three separate RBLs secured by Oil and Gas Properties
  • Oasis Petroleum as borrower in its Senior Secured Credit Facility (RBL)
  • Oasis Midstream Partners as borrower in its Senior Loan Facility
  • Altamont Partners as borrower in its Senior Secured Credit Facility (RBL)
  • Crown Energy as borrower in its Senior Secured Credit Facility (RBL)
  • Beacon E&P as borrower in its Senior Secured Credit Facility (RBL)
  • Haymaker as borrower in its Senior Secured Credit Facility (RBL)
  • KA Henry I and KA Henry II, each as borrowers in two separate RBLs
  • Trail Ridge II in its Senior Secured Credit Facility (RBL)
  • Capitol One in a development loan to Hunter’s Creek
  • Private Equity in a maritime financing workout
  • Amegy in a commercial middle market loan secured by a fleet of tug boats
  • Amegy Bank as lead arranger and administrative agent of a syndicate of US banks in the Houston Dynamo Stadium construction finance
  • MUFG in a $200MM Trade Finance transaction
  • MUFG in a $150MM Trade Finance transaction
  • Comerica Bank in a $35MM Construction loan to a multi-family developer
  • A US bank as agent in a US$100 million E&P warehouse facility
  • A US branch of a Canadian bank as agent in a US$100 million credit facility
  • A Venezuelan company in a $35,000,000 project finance credit facility for the construction of seismic data vessels
  • A South African company in the acquisition, finance and construction of a Gas-to Liquids Facility
  • A US bank in a US$90 million credit facility secured by maritime assets
  • A US bank in a US$50 million credit facility secured by oil and gas properties
  • A US bank in a US$89 million construction loan facility secured by multifamily apartments
  • An oil and gas marketing and trading company in purchase and sale of crude oil and refined products

Hydrogen

  • Represent developer of Hydrogen facility north of Los Angeles County, California in the development, offtake, financing, and operation of its 13,100 kg capacity per day Hydrogen facility utilizing certain existing infrastructure
  • Represent developer of Hydrogen facility in Rotterdam, The Netherlands in the development, offtake, financing and operation of a 13,100 kg capacity per day Hydrogen Facility
  • Represent developer of Hydrogen facility in Antwerp, Belgium in the development, offtake, financing and operation of a 13,100 kg capacity per day Hydrogen Facility
  • Represent developer of Hydrogen facility in Southern California, United States in the development, offtake, financing and operation of a 36,300 kg per day Hydrogen Facility
  • Represent developer of Hydrogen facility in Central California, United States in the development, offtake, financing and operation of a 13,100 kg capacity per day Hydrogen Facility
