The future of competition law: What to expect under a new administration

Regardless of the outcome of November’s presidential election, the Biden Administration will end. Over the past four years, the Biden Administration has openly sought to transform US antitrust enforcement with aggressive enforcement actions, changes to core competition policies, active intervention in private litigation, and a “whole-of-government” approach that extended beyond the Department of Justice and Federal Trade Commission.

We hosted a panel of competition enforcement professionals as they evaluated what parts of the Biden legacy may remain beyond the current administration and what to expect in US antitrust enforcement starting in 2025.
