DLA Piper advises Intrum on the sale of its joint venture stake to Brocc Finance

DLA Piper’s global Capital Solutions team advised Intrum AB, Europe’s largest provider of credit management services, on the sale of its remaining 35 percent holding in its joint venture with Brocc Finance AB (“Brocc”), an affiliate of Cerberus Capital Management L.P.

Intrum will remain as servicer of the portfolios under the original five-year servicing agreement. Its strategic co-investment agreement with Cerberus entered into in April 2025 and assumed by Brocc in December 2025, also remains in place. The transaction strengthens Intrum's financial position by reducing its net debt and improving its leverage ratio.

The DLA Piper team was led by Capital Solutions Partner Ranesh Ramanathan (New York) and Legal Director George Burt (London). Both previously advised Intrum on a number of significant matters.
