DLA Piper advises Arize AI on its US$915 million acquisition by Dynatrace
DLA Piper advised AI observability and large-language model (LLM) platform Arize AI on its entry into a definitive agreement to be acquired by AI-powered observability platform Dynatrace, Inc. (Dynatrace) in a cash and stock transaction valued at US$915 million, subject to customary adjustments.
The transaction will expand Dynatrace's AI observability capabilities, providing customers with continuous coverage across the AI lifecycle and a direct path from experimentation to enterprise-grade deployment, backed by Arize's trusted standing in the open-source AI community.
The DLA Piper deal team was led by Corporate Partners Viktor Sapezhnikov, Steve Reil, and Jonathan Axelrad, and included Partners Brian Boyle (Antitrust), Gianni Minutoli (Patents), Nicholas Klein (CFIUS), Andrew Ledbetter (Corporate), Nathaniel McKitterick (RWI), Stephen Taeusch (Employment), Michelle Lara (Benefits), Brian Hamano (Tax), and Victoria Lee (Commercial).
