Antitrust and Competition
  • Achieved complete dismissal for rebar micro-mill manufacturer alleged to have attempted to monopolize the rebar manufacturing market in violation of the U.S. Sherman Act, the California Cartwright Act, and the California Unfair Competition Law
  • On behalf of a property management company, successfully settled and obtained voluntary dismissal from the In Re: RealPage Inc., Rental Software Antitrust Litigation (NO. II) multidistrict litigation (MDL) alleging that client's use of use of algorithmic pricing software violated federal and state antitrust laws
  • Advised a consortium of energy companies on antitrust issues arising from formation of a joint venture
  • Represented a medical device company in a "killer acquisition" investigation by the US Department of Justice (DOJ), Antitrust Division, and parallel congressional hearings, alleging antitrust violations that led to COVID-19 ventilator shortages
  • Represented a US executive in a criminal price fixing investigation of the generic pharmaceuticals industry by the US DOJ, Antitrust Division and subsequent MDL class action litigation
  • Represented a US agricultural company in a no-poach investigation by the US DOJ, Antitrust Division
