For several years now, Nils Grunicke is advising companies – particularly in the Financial Services Sector – on employment law issues. A focus of Nils’ work is regulated remuneration, litigation and investigations.

Further areas of focus include drafting of bonus- and commission plans as well as advice on works constitution law.

EXPERIENCE

  • Advice of foreign and domestic banks on legal aspects of remuneration (regulated remuneration; remuneration of works council members).
  • Leading a number of investigations for market-leading international service providers.
  • Advising one of the world's largest commercial real estate consulting companies on the structuring of variable remuneration in sales in Germany.
  • Regularly representing employers, in particular banks, in court proceedings, especially in disputes over compensation claims and dismissals of C-level employees.
  • Advising a number of US private equity companies on the structuring of commission- and bonus plans.
  • Advice on and negotiation of works agreements on the introduction of remuneration systems, mobile working and the introduction of software tools (IT framework agreement).
  • Regular negotiation of Balance of Interests Agreements and Social Plans for clients in the context of rightsizing and restructuring.
