Wenxi Li's practice focuses on the representation of healthcare clients in a range of regulatory and transactional matters. Wenxi advises healthcare providers, emerging health IT companies, vendors and investors in the digital health industry on regulatory, transactional and strategic matters, with concentration focusing on representing clients involving health information privacy and security, fraud and abuse, billing and reimbursement, and accreditation of healthcare providers and suppliers. She is a member of the firm's Healthcare Industry team in the Washington, DC office.

Her experience includes:

  • Counseling clients on various healthcare fraud and abuse laws, including the False Claims Act, the Anti-Kickback Statute, the Physician Self-Referral (Stark) Law and Civil Monetary Penalties Law
  • Advising clients on federal and state data privacy, cybersecurity and security laws, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
  • Assisting health care clients with all aspects of transactional regulatory health care due diligence
