Laura Sixkiller

Laura Sixkiller is a trial attorney whose diverse practice focuses on the litigation of complex commercial, securities, M&A, regulatory and corporate matters in federal and state courts as well as administrative and arbitral forums. Laura's practice also includes counseling clients in the development of strategies to avoid, resolve, and prevail in high-stakes disputes. Laura also has experience with direct defense of aging services facilities in lawsuits asserting professional liability, personal injury, negligence, elder abuse, wrongful death and other related claims.

Laura has represented large and small public and private companies, directors, officers, shareholders, investors, developers, accountants and financial institutions in matters involving a broad range of complex issues. She routinely handles matters involving the fiduciary obligations of directors and officers; private placements, public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, securities fraud, stock manipulation, material disclosures, stock sale practices, accounting improprieties, shareholder rights, partnership agreements, corporate dissolutions, business divorce, share dilution and freeze-outs, fair value determinations, business torts, successor liability, consumer finance issues, civil racketing, consumer protection statutes, commercial contracts, negotiable instruments, lender liability and mortgage fraud.
